Yesterday, the U.S. Department of Education's Office of Civil Rights released its biennial Civil Rights Data Collection, which provides data on every school in nearly 7,000 school districts. This trove of information includes school enrollment, the number of first and second-year teachers, teacher salaries, harassment and bullying policies, pre-kindergarten and kindergarten programs, and discipline methods.

The Department of Education is expected to release state-wide and national civil rights data soon.
