Confused about the impact of the looming, much-discussed across-the-board budget cuts? Clarification should be on the way.

The Senate passed a bipartisan amendment to the Senate Farm Bill that will require the Office of Management and Budget to issue a report on the impact of the across-the-board cuts scheduled for education and other programs in 2013. The report will detail the number of education jobs impacted, the number of students cut off from programs, and federal education resources that will be lost by each state.

NAESP has sent a letter to lawmakers supporting this amendment.
