NAESP's National Principal Mentor Program has done more than help me mentor new principals. The coaching, listening, probing and problem solving skills that I acquired while in the program have enhanced my leadership skills. The principal mentoring experience has helped create a supportive, focused, tight-knit community of leaders that has resulted in an increase in morale and intrinsic satisfaction. Being a member of NAESP and a part of the mentoring program is definitely a professional development experience worth pursuing.
