The best part of being a member of NAESP is the national presence of this organization.  I was pleasantly surprised and pleased to learn about the integral part NAESP played in developing ESSA. Having recently attended NAESP’s National Leaders Conference for the first time, it was great see first-hand the coordination efforts for getting us a front row seat with lawmakers.  NAESP makes me, an Ohio principal from a small, rural school, feel like I have a voice in this great big system.
